Airbrau in Munchen

The start of a highly anticipated gastronomical trip to southwestern France and the Basque Country  has started. Flying via Munich allows us to stop for.......yes, that's right, sausages, pretzels and beer. And no better time than during Oktoberfest.

Even though in transit, we had to get out of the airport, in order to allow our four-legged friend some much needed relief. We were really pleased to find Airbrau, a semi-open German beer house with house made brews and typical German dishes like sausages, pork knuckle and Bavarian dumplings.
Ordering beer, veal sausages and pan roasted pork sausages with sauerkraut, and some salted pretzels, definitely made this 4-hour overlay such a wonderful welcome after all.
